On February 15, 2010 Native American Connections (NAC) teamed up with St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance to host the first of several FREE food distributions to individuals and families in need.

On January 22, 2009, Diana Yazzie Devine was honored as one of 10 "Women Who Move the Valley" by Arizona Foothills Magazine. The awards now in their third year honor an influential group of women who help move our valley in a positive direction. This year women were selected from the fields of business, sports, food, philanthropy, arts, culture and health.

On January 18, 2010, Ballard Spahr attorneys and staff across the nation took part in the firm's 5th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Offices closed for the day, and employees were encouraged to use their time to serve their communities.
